All Aboard at the Tramway Industrial Estate
The Haslemere Reach Industrial Estate in Banbury, owned by Aviva Investors, has recently attracted two further new tenants taking close to 14,000 sq ft of accommodation. The 85,000 sq ft development with 11 separate units is now fully let, with several key companies having taken newly refurbished industrial accommodation close to the quoting rentals of £5 per sq ft.

The TATA Idea Idol Launch event held at the Said Business School on the evening of 1st December was a huge success. The Rhodes Lecture Theatre was jam-packed with prospective applicants to Oxford Entrepreneurs’ flagship business idea competition - Tata Idea Idol. Oxford Entrepreneurs was privileged to launch Tata Idea Idol 2012 with Will Chadwick (Vice President, Tata Interactive Systems) and then hear two inspirational speeches by Stuart Miller (co-founder and CEO of ByBox) and Benjamin Barokas (current President and co-founder of AdMeld).

Local School Wins University of Oxford Begbroke Science Park Innovation Award
Marlborough School saw off the competition to scoop the 2011 Innovation Showcase Award at Begbroke Science Park.
Thirty-four students from the two schools visited the University of Oxford Begbroke Science Park on March 10th to participate in this event. Begbroke hosted the showcase in support of the Oxfordshire Science Festival 2011, of which it is a platinum sponsor. The festival aims to bring science to the public by hosting a series of engaging, hands on events, across Oxfordshire
